About

Lorraine-AboutLorraine is a thoughtleader in entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, organisation, marketing and social media.

She started her first business The Remarkables Group in her spare bedroom. The business went on to secure over $1m in revenue in its first 12 months and is seen as a best practice case study in entrepreneurship. Clients include Woolworths, L’Oreal, Nissan, Schwarzkopf, Origin, Bupa, Qantas, Bonds and Priceline.

Lorraine’s best-selling first book Remarkability was published by Hachette Australia in June 2016; and is an entertaining and practical account of the biggest lessons she has learned in her entrepreneurial and business journey. Her second book Get Remarkably Organised was published in January 2018 and is also on track to become a bestseller.

In December 2017, Lorraine sold the The Remarkables Group in order to focus on her “soul on fire stuff” – writing, speaking and mentoring.

She has spoken for brands including Westpac, Woolworths and Qantas; and she has also spoken at industry events including Vivid Sydney, Business Chicks, Collective Hub, General Assembly, Mumbrella, the International Advertising Association and Social Media Week.

RB-with-meOne of Lorraine’s life highlights was spending time on Necker Island in 2016, and learning firsthand from Sir Richard Branson.

Lorraine was named one of BRW’s Five Young Entrepreneurs to Watch and one of Dynamic Business’s Young Guns. She has featured frequently in media, including The Project, Sunrise, The Today Show, Sydney Morning Herald, Collective Hub, Marie Claire, Sky News, ABC News and The Australian.

Lorraine has received several plaudits including being named as one of BRW’s Fast Starters in 2015, Entrepreneur of the Year, Emerging Agency of the Year, Content Marketer of the Year, Australian Start-up of the Year and Women in Media – as well as being finalists for the Telstra Business Awards, Women’s Agenda Women in Leadership Awards and the Mumbrella Awards.

Lorraine has been married to fellow entrepreneur Wade for five years and is the embarrassingly proud mother of baby Alexis.
