My Promise To You

I’m so excited that this group of beautiful women can finally experience the magic of Noosa with me.

I have curated a retreat that will give you a safe place to put down your load for a few days, and nurture you on a deep level mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. Definitely something that I feel is much needed after the year that was 2020!

Over four days, in a divine nature setting in the Noosa Hinterland, I will lead an intimate group through a program specifically designed to facilitate peace, bliss and connection.

From the second you land at Sunshine Coast Airport, you don’t need to make any decisions or look after anyone else – you are in my capable and loving hands!

You will be amazed at what peace, breakthroughs and clarity just four days will present to you.

Read On…

…If you’re tired.

…If you’re overwhelmed.

…If you need to hit the pause button on life responsibilities so you can catch your breath.

…If you feel you’re nurturing everyone else’s needs and not your own.

…If stress has you waking at 2am mentally rehearsing your to do list for the next day.

…If you feel a need to connect on a deep level with fellow strong, passionate and supportive women.

…If you’re at crossroads in your life and want to get some clear direction on what your next steps are.

…If you haven’t had time to think about what YOU want from your life for a long, long time.

…If you feel a bit lost and unsure of where to next.

…If you’re feeling spiritually depleted and want to create a stronger connection with the divine.

…If your health is lacklustre and is in need of a kickstart.

Home For The Step Into You Retreat

The Step Into You Retreat will be held at the stunning 44-acre purpose-built Amara Retreat Venue in the Noosa Hinterland.

Amara Retreat is only 20 minutes from Maroochydore Airport, 10 minutes to Peregian Beach, 1.5 hours from Brisbane and 20 minutes to Noosa.

What made me catch my breath with this incredible place was the 180 degree views across the Hinterland all the way to Noosa.  To be steeped in such gorgeous nature is the perfect scene for the unwinding and opening that the Step Into You Retreat will bring.

“There is a vibration here that resonates visibly with our guests. You can see stress and tension disappearing immediately, even as soon as you drive through the gates at Amara”.

The stunning Hamptons Style Retreat House offers outside areas for my guests to lounge and relax with light breezes and sweeping views.

The daybed and several other nooks and crannies offer a cosy place to recede into privacy and enjoy a nap, a book or to simply daydream.

Enjoy a walk around the 44 undulating acres of the property alongside grazing kangaroos and wallabies, while being serenaded by kookaburras and native birdlife. A rock balancing garden provides another meditative space amongst lush riparian forests

Guests are invited to swim in the 4,000 sqm sacred waterhole, soak in the 6-person steam sauna and to take a dip in the magnesium salt pool to wash away the last traces of tension.

What We’ll Be Eating

(Maybe The Most Important Thing!)

As you might know, food is an extremely high priority for me… and that extends to the calibre of food I guarantee to guest on my retreats.

Sophia Davey from Bloom Kitchen will be our personal chef for the retreat.  She took care of my group on my invite-only Byron Bay retreat in early 2020 and every guest rated the food a 10/10!

Sophia draws her passion and inspiration from her world travels and each dish is holistically prepared with three core pillars in mind: gut health, flavour and freshness.  All ingredients used are proudly organic and locally sourced.

She specialises in food that heals, and I only found out on the last day of our Byron Bay retreat that she recites a specific mantra while cooking each meal to infuse it with positive energy for guests.  I LOVE that, and I swear it’s part of the reason her food tastes so incredible!

Her dishes are 100% wholefood based and cooked from scratch, and all meals will be eaten family style together. The food will mostly be plant-based or vegetarian, however we’ll have eggs for breakfast and also a seafood banquet on one evening.  Oh, and Sophia’s specialty is raw desserts… I KNOW!

All meals, snacks, tea and coffee are included as part of your Step Into You Retreat package. Oh, and all dietary requirements can easily be accommodated.

To get your tastebuds firing, here’s a sampler of the kind of food we have in store for you…

Seasonal Fruit Platter

Brown Rice Porridge – coconut cream, chia, cinnamon, pear, apple, prunes, cashews

Enriched superfood muesli

Folded Eggs

Sweet potato fries with crispy chickpeas and paprika

Zucchini Frittata with sundried tomato, sour cream and chives

Sweet potato and white bean chilli

Seafood banquet

Eggplant & Chickpea Moroccan Tagine – infused with orange water and medjool dates

Vietnamese mint coconut fried rice

Coconut and Cacao Mousse with raspberries

Raw Vegan Strawberry Cheesecake

Cheese platter

And I know what you’re probably thinking… what about drinks?!

Each evening we’ll enjoy a cocktail at Evening Circle, and guests are very welcome to bring their own alcohol to enjoy over dinner or in their rooms.

Group Mentoring Workshops

Each day at the Step Into You Retreat, I’ll be hosting a half-day workshop.

We will be diving DEEP in these sessions. If you want to get called on your own BS, then you are in the right place – and I’ll also be your go-get-‘em cheerleader as you make some big decisions on where you are and where you want to be.

Included in your package are four half-day group workshops with me.  The sessions will be specifically designed to help you:

–       Identify and overcoming blocks you may be experiencing

–       Find your passions and create more time for them in your life

–       Design the life that you want to be living

–       Clearly articulate your strengths and superpowers

–       Map out a magnetic five-year vision for your life

–       Articulate clear goals and a map out a plan to make them a reality

Workshop 1: Intention setting, self-audit and getting to know each other

Workshop 2: Energy management and self-care toolkit

Workshop 3: Blue sky life strategy

Workshop 4: Bringing the retreat together

A key intent of the Step Into You Retreat is to help you connect with the divine source/God/the Universe/your higher self (whatever your belief is).  As such, each day we devote time to cultivating your spiritual practice.

I am thrilled that my friend and trusted guru Claire Obeid will be joining us on retreat, for three reasons:

  1. She’s a dear friend and has been for many years
  2. I know she’ll be the perfect person to guide us deeper on the retreat
  3. She’s a one-woman toolkit of tools we can bring back to our lives at home to keep the retreat goodness flowing for many years after it.

Claire and I first met when we were colleagues in our former lives of PR.

Once she trained as a Yoga Teacher and embarked on a new path as a Holistic Health Coach, I turned to her for coaching to help me in a very full-on period of my first business.

To this day, I use the information and advice that Claire shared with me in my life – including my love of Ayurveda.

Since she coached me, she has extended her scope of knowledge even further – she is now a certified Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner (also known as tapping), has trained as a Meditation and Mindfulness Guide, a Somatic and Embodiment Coach and has recently extended her skill set to include Trauma Awareness and an understanding of how the brain and body work together.

Claire will be leading our Miracle Mornings each day and will also host a Masterclass on tapping – which is something I’m becoming more and more interested in.

She will be holding space for guests alongside me, and I can’t wait to see the magic she brings to the group.

The Step Into You Miracle Morning

Anyone who has followed me for a while will know that my Miracle Morning is very special to me, and it’s a key pillar of my retreats as well.

We greet each new day with a group Miracle Morning at our dedicated yoga space: The Heart Centre.

Our Miracle Morning includes meditation and yoga with Claire, then a morning reflection practice while sipping freshly squeezed lemon juice in warm water.

All levels of experience with yoga and meditation will be cared for – rookies and advanced included!

Rest Time

Each afternoon is dedicated to Go Inwards time – time just for you to relax, think, rest, be pampered or read.  This is sacred time for you, with nowhere to be and no agenda.  Amara Retreat offers plenty of areas for you to unwind in your own space, and snacks, tea and coffee are available to keep you charged up in the kitchen.

After lunch together, the group will disperse to devote the afternoon to themselves as individuals.  You might find a peaceful nest to read, have a soak in the magnesium salt pool, have a snooze in your room or go into Noosa to visit the beach and do some shopping.

If you’d like to dive even deeper during your afternoons, a team of holistic practitioners is available to visit you at the Step Into You Retreat for an additional charge, including Zenthai massage, kinesiology, naturopathy, counselling, reiki and tarot reading.  We will share a list of local practitioners with you.

Making The Connection

So much of the magic of a retreat is the fellow guests you get to know and learn from.  Each evening the group comes together for Evening Circle, when we share the biggest learnings, aha moments and insights from the day with each other.

I’ve never been on a retreat before and I’m nervous about it.

I totally get this.  The first time I went on a retreat, I felt like the new girl at school.  But guess what?  So did everyone else!  I am incredibly grateful that I attract a very special kind of woman, and my retreats are no different.  I can guarantee you a caring, supportive and no-BS environment, and I’ll be there personally for the whole retreat to care for you.

I haven’t done much work in the yoga/meditation/spirituality space, is that a problem?

No, not at all.  We’re all learning in this space, and no part of the Step Into You Retreat will feel inaccessible if you haven’t explored too much of this side of life yet. Claire and I will be on hand to support you and we’ll get a clear brief from each guest pre-depature to establish their experience with yoga and meditation, and to give them a chance to share any concerns they may have.

I’m living in Queensland – can I just drive?

Yep, for sure you can.  We’ll share the ideal time of arrival with guests once the program is finalised so you can arrive at a similar time to those flying in from other states.  To ease the strain on the environment, we can also connect guests driving from a similar direction before the retreat to see if they’d like to carpool.

I’ve got some pretty specific dietary requirements – will I be a pain?

You absolutely won’t. Sophia is familiar with catering for many different requirements and will look after those with special dietaries with ease and grace at the retreat.

I’m not a business owner, is this for me?

100% yes!  This is not a business retreat, so no business is necessary.

I can’t make these dates, will you be hosting this retreat again in 2021?

Given the disruption that the pandemic situation had on my retreats in 2020, I am not planning any other retreats in 2021. Watch this space for 2022 though!

Do I still get access to the Main House & all the amenities if I stay in a cabin or tent?

100% yes! You get full access to everything (except other bedrooms) no matter where you choose to stay.

Can I only attend if I’ve done the Step Into You program?

No the retreat is open to all women, you don’t need to have completed any programs before attending
